He has performed with most of the major opera companies and symphonies in the U.S. and many in Europe and Asia. He is presently located in Detroit, Michigan. Alan Hovhaness was a superb pianist, and this is one of his very rare recorded performances. This recording was originally released on Poseidon Records ca. 1970.
